I am, admittedly, a bit of a salt snob. I carry a tin of Maldon in my purse because there’s nothing that ruins a meal quicker than iodized salt. I personally really enjoy mushrooms, but was worried that this would have a super strong mushroom flavor that would limit its use to just a few things. I’m happy to report that I was wrong. I use both Umami Salt original, and Umami Salt Black on a near daily basis. Perfect for anything that just needs a little extra oomph.
